Table
The interlacing pattern of the Nasturtium Table is reminiscent of
Art Nouveau floral designs. Tendrils of lily pad-like leaves and
flowers weave around the outer edge. The brightly colored flowers
are formed from seven shades of orange tesserae and the leaves use
four tones of green. A light cream-colored tile is used for the
background allowing the bright floral pattern to stand out. Over
3,600 pieces of smalti are used to create this intricate pattern.
